Opening Day: Safety News You Can Use

MASKS

  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED ON ADULTS AT ALL TIMES. There are no exceptions here. Managers, coaches, volunteers, all adults must wear masks (covering noses and mouths) at all times during practice and at game fields. This is non-negotiable. We have had a few complaints already and we will lose our field permits if mask requirements are not followed. If we lose our field permits we will have to shut down for the season.
  • Masks are required on players at all times, except when actively on the field competing in a game at Lynndale, Scriber, or Meadowdale Athletic Complex. Players must wear masks when in the dugout, when warming up, and at all times except when out on the field, actively competing, during games. This includes during practice.
    • Masks are required on players 100% of the time, including during game play, on Edmonds School District fields. This includes Edmonds Woodway High School, Lynndale High School, and Meadowdale High School.  If you have games scheduled at these fields please remind your players and volunteers not to remove their masks.

SAFETY AT LYNNDALE

  • Bleachers will be closed at Lynndale.  We're not able to actively manage distancing in the bleachers and they will be closed off to fans during games. Families, please bring chairs and distance in the grass outside the fields.
  • Announcer booth occupation limit is 2 people. Anyone under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent. Please wipe down the chair, desk, etc, with a sanitizing wipe before you leave.
  • 7PM Games on Field 1: Please have someone from your team check in with the Snack Shack staff before the game. For safety reasons, we need someone to stick around and walk with them to their cars after the game. If no one checks in they will close the Snack Shack early.

COVID PROCEDURES

  • IF YOU HAVE A CONFIRMED CASE OF COVID ON YOUR TEAM: Email  [email protected] right away and let David, our Safety Manager, know. He will advise you of next steps. Do not proceed with any league activities (practice, games, etc.) until you've received further instruction.
  • Current CDC guidelines for quarantine for confirmed cases and close contact with a confirmed case will be followed.
    • Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of a confirmed case for 15 minutes.
