Hello PLL Families,

Due to the increase in COVID cases, the subsequent delay in moving to Phase 3, and the lack of availability of required volunteers, we've made the decision to suspend operations for the Spring and Summer seasons.

The following divisions have been cancelled:

• Softball: Juniors, Majors, Minors, 89ers, Rookies
• Baseball: Majors, Minors, 89ers, Farm, and Tee-ball

The teenage (Intermediates & Seniors) baseball divisions will have socially distanced practices and, if phases and conditions allow, may eventually scrimmage with another local league. These teams have retained the majority of their players, utilize a separate field that's closed to other public use, and the coaches remain available, making practice and play possible for them.

We will be issuing full refunds to families beginning tomorrow and through the coming weeks. No action is necessary on your part if you would like a full refund. It will take some time to process all refunds. Most families will receive a refund for all of their registered players at the same time.

Thankfully we've worked hard to maintain a responsible financial position as a league over the years and are able to cover our expenses and offer full refunds. However, if you would prefer to donate some or all of your registration fees to the league, please send an email to [email protected] indicating the amount you'd like to donate and your player's name. Donations help cover things like equipment, field & facility maintenance, and player scholarships.

This certainly isn't how I was hoping to wrap up our 2020 Little League season. I miss seeing our kids laughing with their teammates, the smell of the grass, the crack of the bat, and the Snack Shack grilled cheese. We're exploring the possibility of a Fall season and will send a survey to gauge interest soon.
