Game Updates:

6/3: Sparta's-15, Harbor Square-2:  Sparta's are the 2010 PLL In-house champs.  The Sparta's hitting attack was led by Spencer Schultz (3-3, 2 HR, 3 R), Max Johnson (2-4, HR, 2 R), Austin Steen (3-4, 3 R), Brock Davis (4-4, 3 R), and Stuart Smith (1-3, 4 RBI, Sac). Max Johnson also threw a 78-pitch CG, allowing only 2 runs on 3 hits, 1 BB, and racking up 9 K's along the way. Tyler Rheinford went 2-3 in the effort for Harbor Square.
 

6/2: Harbor Square-8, 3D Roofing-2: Griffin Small pitched 4 2/3 shutout innings for Harbor Square, whose hitting attack was led by Jaxen Lawrence's three hits, and two hits each from Andrew Sudol and Griffin Small.  Jesse Reynolds had two hits for 3D.  After losing their opening game of the tournament, Harbor Square has won five straight games to reach the championship games for the second straight year!

6/1: Sparta's-8, 3D-4: Timely hitting proved enough for Sparta's to get by 3D in this semi-final game.  Max Johnson, Joey Oda, and Brock Davis all have multiple hits for Sparta's along with 6 players total scoring.  Lee Bruemmer notches 3 hits, 1 BB and 2 runs for 3D.

6/1: Harbor Square-3, Showcase-1: Harbor Square pitchers Tyler Rheinford and Griffin Small combined for a one hitter and 12 strikeouts.  Jaxen Lawrence had three hits, driving in two runs.  Richard Aguiar had a double for Showcase, and Gavin Connors threw four strong innings.

5/27: Showcase-15, Wilcox-3: Duncan Cull led showcase offense going 2-3 with an in the park HR. Zach Plummer pitched 4 strong innings and went 3-4. Matthew Park had 2 hits for Wilcox and Conner Whitehouse scored twice.

5/27: Harbor Square-12, IRG-3: Harbor Square's attack was led by Colton Witsman, who hit a grand slam in the second inning.  Griffin Small had three hits, and Nick Loan had two hits.  IRG was led by Nick Woodside, who hit a home run, and Brandon Mitchell, who had two hits.

5/26: Sparta's-13, IRG-1

5/26: 3D-9, Wilcox-3: Both teams played a good game at the new Lynnwood High School.  Shay Kivlen and Lee Bruemmer pitched well for 3D.  Lee also brought in 2 runs as did Jesse Reynolds with a home run.  Peter McNeill continued his hot hitting going 3-3.  Matt Lico hit a triple for Wilcox and knocked in 2 runs.

5/25: Harbor Square-8, Distinctive Glass-7: An absolute classic, as Harbor Square scored the winning runs with two outs in the bottom of the sixth to win the game.  Harbor Square took an early 6-0 lead, with an attack that was led by Andrew Sudol, who had three hits and six RBI on the night, two hits each from Griffin Small, Tyler Rheinford, and Colton Witsman, and Nick Loan, who hit a home run.  DGI battled all the way back to take the lead at 7-6 in the top of the sixth with an attack that included two hits from Alec Bergstrom, a home run by Ian Tro (his first!), and an RBI double from Charles McDonald.  

5/25: Showcase-24, Echelbarger-8: Big offensive for Showcase highlighted by Zach Plummer's solo shot off the scoreboard and Hunter Shouse had an in the park home run to the opposite field.

5/24: Harbor Square-12, Point B-9 (5 innings): A real nail-biter, as Harbor Square's hitting attack was led by Griffin Small's four hits and Jaxen Lawrence's two hits.  Justin Fehler and Kyle Grund hit home runs for Point B.  The lights went out in the top of the sixth, with Point B battling to stage a rally.

5/24: Spartas-18, Echelbarger-4

5/23: Wilcox-6, Distinctive Glass-4: Wilcox had Matthew Park 3-4 R, George Reidy 1-2 2B 2 RBI, Jordan Nielsen 1-2 2B 2RBI. DGI had Blake Bergstrom 2 for 3, Tommy Dimmock 2 for 3, Alec Bergstrom 2 for 3.

5/23: Insurance Res.-5, Showcase-4: A very good battle. These teams were very evenly matched and were neck-and-neck right to the RBI that Reid Friday hit to right field. Ben Highum made a good catch but was not able to keep the runner on 3rd from scoring. Both Houston Schmutz and Harry White pitched great games.

5/23: Echelbarger-11, Point B-4:Keaton Mckay pitched a full game for Echelbarger, helping for the win with 8 strike outs. For Point B Matt Anderson hits a 2 run double to stop a shut out. For Echelbarger, Nathaniel Kerr had 3-5 and 1 RBI; Christian Jansen had 3-4 and 2 RBI; Issac Jackson had 4-4 and 3 RBI; and Drew Feucht had 2-2 and 2 RBI.

5/23: 3D-4, Harbor Square-0: Jacob O'Connell threw a 63 pitch complete game, striking out 7 and holding powerful Harbor Square to only 3 hits.  3D's defense was stellar in backing up Jacob's fine pitching performance.  Lee Bruemmer and Peter McNeill each drove in 2 runs for 3D.  Griffin Small struck out 8 for Harbor Square.  Great pitching duel.  Game over in a little over an hour.

5/22: DGI-11, Point B-3: Jordan Rice & Blake Bergstrom pitch for DGI, Jordan threw 4 innings of shutout ball, he kept them off balance all nigt with a very effective curve ball. Corey Kispert had 3 hits and scored twice, Damon Johnson was 2 for 2 and a run scored.  10 different players scored for DGI tonight.

 5/22: 3D-17, Wilcox-1: Great end-of-season game for 3D.  With great defense backing them up, Mitch Bolin and Sam McCloughan (pitching for the first time this season) held Wilcox to 5 hits.  Peter McNeill led the offense with 3 hits, including a homer, and 3 RBIs.  Lee Bruemmer had 3 hits/1RBI, Cameron Cohn had 2 hits & 2 RBIs, Sam McCloughan 2 hits , Shay Kivklen had 3 RBIs.  Jeff Petschl was 2-3 for Wilcox.

5/22: Windermere-2, Harbor Square-1:

5/22: Spartas-12, Showcase-8:  A fun game with lots of different looks...Ten pitchers were used between both teams for the last game of the regular season.  Spencer Schultz and Brock Davis had two hits for Spartas, and Hunter Shouse had two for Showcase, including a 1B to start a 4-run rally in the last inning.  With the bases loaded, Max Johnson gets a hot ground ball to a diving Austin Steen at 2B for the final force out at two.

5/22: IRG-14, Echelbarger-5:

5/20: IRG-15, 3D-8: In a game that seemed more like a cross between Slugfest and Jamboree both teams pounded the ball and used multiple pitchers in an effort to get set up for the upcoming In-House tournament. IRG was led by the 4-RBI's from Garrett Heibel and doubles from Quinn Walker and Will Peters. 3D got huge hits in a 7-Run third inning from Reid Whitson and Lee Breummer.

5/20: Wilcox-10, Point B-8: Wilcox Highlights: Park 3-4 3R; Petschl 2-3 2R; Stutz 2-3. Point B Highlights: Krohn 2-4 4RBI; Wilkie 1-2 2BB 3R; Grund 2-3 R.

5/19: Harbor Square-9, Distinctive Glass-0: The rain let up long enough to get the game in at EWHS.  Harbor Square's attack was led by Andrew Sudol with three hits, and Griffin Small, Tyler Rheinford (including a home run), and Colton Witsman with two hits each.  Harbor Square pitchers Tyler Rheinford and Griffin Small combined for the shutout.  Alec Bergstrom hit a double for DGI.

5/18: Windermere-13, Echelbarger-2: Windermere got busy in the first inning with Dominic Marinez hitting his first of two home runs. Dominic (2-2, 2HR, 2BB, 5 RBI) hit his second HR in the 4th inning with two runners on base. Zach Meicho (2-4), Carson Dallas (1-2), Zac Kingsbury (2-3) and Kosta Cooper (1-2) played a big role in the win. Dylan Turner and Nathaniel Kerr both pitched well for Echelbarger with Nicholas Navlet and Josh Campagnaro scoring the runs.

5/18: Showcase-14, Point B-2: Showcase picked up a win at the end of (4) consecutive days of baseball. Big offensive show with alot of base runners. Duncan Cull let the team with 4 hits, Dustin Chartrand and Hunter both had 3, Harry White pithed a solid 4 innings and was relieved by Dustin & Jordan Kirk with good outings. For Point B Jason Wilkie and Alex Panek both scored runs and Matt Anderson had 2 hits.

5/17: Spartas-15, IRG-2: Lots of offensive action for Spartas tonight as Brock Davis and Jack Blahous both notch 3 hits.  Drew Harvey, Spencer Schultz, and Jesse Navlet also all add 2 hits apiece.  Spartas pitchers stymied IRG, allowing only 7 baserunners in the contest.

5/17: Harbor Square-8, Showcase-3: Harbor Square's attack was led by Andrew Sudol and Jaxen Lawrence, who each had three hits,  and Griffin Small, who had two hits. Duncan Cull had two hits for Showcase.  Griffin Small ended the game by making a fantastic diving stop of a line drive, starting a double play. 

5/16: IRG-20, Echelbarger-6: (Continuation game from rainout April 26)

5/16: 3DRoofing-5, Showcase-4: (Continuation game from previous tie) Peter McNeill drove in two runs for 3D in the top of the 8th.  Showcase bounced back with a run in the bottom of the 8th and was threatening to score more until Shay Kivlen caught a fly ball in center and then threw a runner out at home with a perfect strike for a double play.  Jesse Reynolds also helped to pitch 3D out of a jam.   Richard Aguiar had a double for Showcase.

5/16: 3D-9, Point B-8: (Continuation game from previous tie) Point B scored two quick runs in the top of the 7th.   In the bottom of the 7th and with two outs, Jesse Reynolds drove in 2 runs to tie the score, and advanced all the way to 3rd base.  Drew Cummins slashed a base hit to right field bringing Jesse home for the winning run.  Exciting win for 3D.

5/15: Spartas-10, Wilcox-3: Wilcox came out strong in the 1st, notching 3 quick runs, Spartas finds a way to tie it up by the 3rd, and keeps the bats rolling into the 4th to take the lead.  Matt Lico threw well for Wilcox, stifling Spartas bats early on.  Stuart Smith settled in after the 1st and allowed only one hit in the following innings, with Joey Oda finishing things up in the 6th with 3 straight K's.

5/15: IRG-10, Point B-1:  IRG's Houston Schmutz threw a 1-hit complete game, keeping Point B off balance the entire game.  IRG's bats supplied more than enough offense for the victory, including a home run by Reid Friday, and doubles by Nick O'Brien, Nick Woodside, Nick Grant, and Houston.

5/15: DGI-5, Windemere-4: Matthew Gerhardt pitched great for DGI, 5 innings pitched 1 run, 14 K's, & went 3 for 3 at the plate.  Jordan Rice had 2 RBI's in the first. Charles McDonald knocked in a crucial run in the 6th for DGI.  DGI was short some of the regular players and brought up two minors players for some fun action.  Fulton Brawner & Matthew Dewayne.  Matthew had a nice hit in the 6th and scored his first run in the majors.   Both Dominic & Brady threw well for Windemere.  Windemere made it very close with a rally in the 6th.  Dominic hit a 2 run HR.  A well played game by both teams!

5/15: Echelbarger-8, 3D Roofing-3: Echelbarger's Keaton McKay pitched the entire game to help seal the win. We had the following for Echelbarger: Ethan, 3-4; Nathaniel, 2-4; Issac 2-4; and Dylan 2-3. For 3D Roofing we have: Cameron 3-3; and Reid 3-3.

5/15: Harbor Square-11, Showcase-4: Harbor Square's attack was led by Andrew Sudol's three hits, followed by two hits from Colton Witsman and Griffin Small.  Harry White had two hits for Showcase.  Tyler Rheinford pitched three perfect innings for Harbor Square.

5/13: Sparta's-8, Echelbarger-1: Max Johnson goes 2-2 with 2 HR to lead the way for Sparta's.  Brock Davis is solid in his pitching duties, with Mason Harvey closing the deal in the 6th for his Majors pitching debut.

5/13: DGI-10, Wilcox-5: The weather was hot and so were the bats of DGI.  Blake leads off with a base hit and Matthew Gerhardt hits it over the fence to take a early  lead, two batters later Alec Bergstrom Blasts a shot over the center field fence for a 2 run HR.   Alec started on the mound and pitched two scoreless innings.  Younger brother Blake took the hill in the third inning and kept Wilcox quiet one more time.  The Wilcox pitchers shut down DGI for the next three innings and mounted a comeback putting up 4 in the 5th inning. Corey Kispert came in and shut down Wilcox's rally.  George Reidy had a superb diving play at shortstop.

5/12: Windermere-12, 3D Roofing-1: Jacob O'Connell pitched well for 3D going into the 6th inning.  Reid Whitson and Shay Kivlen were both 1-2 with Reid scoring the run for 3D. Windermere bats were busy with Zach Meicho going 2-3, 2 singles and an RBI. Kosta Cooper had the big night for Windermere going 4-5 with 3 singles and his first HR of the season.

5/11: Point B-11, Echelbarger-7: Solid pitching from Point B's Kyle Grund, Justin Fehler, and Michael Bauer, plus hard hits by Jason Wilkie, Garrison Krohn, and Cameron Vogel were the difference in this game.  Ethan Hopkins and Nathaniel Kerr teamed up on the mound for Echelbarger.  Point B highlights: Jason Wilkie, 5-5, 2B, 4R; Garrison Krohn, 4-4, BB, 2 2B, 3R; Cameron Vogel, 2-4, BB, 2B, R.  Echelbarger hightlights: Ethan Hopkins, 2-3, 2B, 1R; Dylan Turner, 1-2, ROE, 2R.

5/11: Harbor Square-10, IRG-2: Harbor Square pitchers Tyler Rheinford and Griffin Small combined for the win, and the offensive attack was led by Tyler Rheinford's three hits (including a home run), and two hits each from Griffin Small, Kameron Krall, and Nick Loan.  Houston Schmutz and Nick O'Brien each had two hits for IRG.

5/10: Windermere-15, Wilcox-0: A well pitched game by Henry Tillman pitched for Windermere, throwing a 1 hitter with 8 k's. The Windermere bats were busy with Zach Meicho leading the charge. Matthew Lico, Jordan Nielson, Connor Whitehouse and Matthew Park shared the mound for Wilcox.

5/10: Distintive-14, Showcase-2: Matthew Gerhardt pitched 4 innings--10k's 2 runs allowed, Corey Kispert pitched the 5 & 6th innings-0 runs. Hitting highlights, Matthew Gerhardt was 4 for 4, Alec Bergstrom 2 for 3 with 5 RBI's.  Dustin Chartrand scored twice for Showcase. 

5/8: Sparta's-15, 3D Roofing-2: Stuart Smith throws CG. Mason Harvey and 3 others from Spartas have multiple hits. Reid Whitson has two hits for 3D.

5/8: Showcase-13, Wilcox-1: Showcase had great pitching from Zach, Gavin, Harry and Brooks got a chance to close the game with a 9 pitch 6th inning. Richard Aguir had a great game with a diving catch in right field. Richard also knocked a big double to keep the offense rolling.

5/8: Harbor Square-17, Echelbarger-3: Harbor Square's attack was led by Griffin Small and Zach Walsh, who had three hits each, followed by Kit Teer, Andrew Sudol, and Jaxen Lawrence, who had two hits each.  Nick Navlet had three hits for Echelbarger.

5/7: Windermere-13, Point B-11:  No one needed nail clippers after this game.  Windermere jumped on Point B in the top half of the 1st with 4 runs, but Point B answered right back with 4 of its own in the bottom.  Winderemere built up a 13-7 lead heading into the top of the 4th.  But then Kyle Grund took the mound for Point B, shutting down Windermere over the next 2 innings with 6 straight outs, including 4 Ks.  Point B chipped away at the lead.  With the score 13-11 in the bottom of the 5th and time running out, Point B had the bases loaded, but Dominic Marinez closed the door, preserving the win for Windermere.  Windermere highlights: Brady Edwards, 3-4, 2 2B, HR 3R; Trenton Lusebrink, 2-4, 2B, HR, 2R; Kosta Cooper, 1-3, BB, 2B, 2R; Henry Tillman, 1-3, HBP, 2R. Point B highlights: Garrison Krohn, 1-2, 2BB, 3R; Justin Fehler, 3-3, ROE, 3R. 

5/7: DGI-16, IRG-6: It was great to have some warm weather and lots of fun baseball.  DGI pitched well tonight and brought the bats!  7 different players scored at least twice!  Matthew Gerhardt hit 2 HR(1 was a grand slam)  Corey Kispert went 3 for 3.  Charles McDonald threw well in the last two innings of relief.  IRG batter Brandon Mitchell goes 4 for 4.

5/6: Windermere-2, Sparta's-0: Great pitching match up with both pitcher throwing complete games. Max Johnson threw a four hitter with 10 k's only giving up two runs in the 2nd inning. Four key hits for Windermere in the top of the 2nd by Trenton Lusebrink (1-3, 1B, run), Carson Dallas (1-3, 1B, run), Zach Meicho (1-2, 1B) and Henry Tillman (1-2, 1B, 1 RBI) helped gain the edge for Windermere. Brady Edwards threw a 2 hit shutout with 14 k's. 

5/6: Harbor Square-14, 3D Roofing-10: Lots of hitting as Harbor Square's attack was led by Andrew Sudol and Zach Walsh with three hits each, followed by Kit Teer, Tyler Rheinford, Jaxen Lawrence, Kameron Krall, and Nick Loan with two hits each.  3D was led by Jesse Reynolds with three hits and Mitchell Bolin with two.  Home runs from 3D's Reid Whitson and Mitchell Bolin, and Harbor Square's Zach Walsh.

5/5: Insurance Res.-9, Wilcox-3: Nick Woodside pitches five shutout innings allowing only two hits. Houston Schmutz got IRG on the board in the 1st inning with a 3-run HR. Reid Friday added to the score in the 3rd inning with a 2-run, tomahawk blast HR. Wilcox began to rally in the 6th inning scoring 3-runs and loading the bases before Brandon Mitchell took the bump and closed the door.

5/4: Windermere-7, Showcase-2:Windermere took the early lead at 2-0 in the first inning. A HR by Duncan Cull(3-3, HR, 1B, 2B) in the second and a run by Harry White in the third tied the game at two. With Zac Kingsbury(1-1) on base, Brady Edwards hits a HR to put Windermere on top. Windermere added one more in the third and two more runs in the fifth inning to seal the game. Harry White and Gavin Connors pitched a good game for Showcase only allowing five hits.  

5/4: Spartas-15, Point B-4: Austin Steen, Max Johnson, Joey Oda, and Brock Davis all have multiple hits for Spartas.  Jason Wilkie (3-4) and Garrison Krohn (2-3, BB) both have great nights at the plate for Point B.  Spartas scores 6 in the bottom of 2, with Point B answering with 4 of their own in the top of 3.  The hits kept rolling for Spartas in the 4th and 5th, and proved too much with the pitching of Brock Davis (4.2 IP, 6H, 10K, 2BB) quieting the Point B bats, along with Jesse Navlet closing the deal in the 6th. 

5/3: Wilcox-8, Echelbarger-7: Wilcox scored the winning run in the bottom of the 6th.  Matthew Park had three great outfield catches to anchor the Wilcox defense. Wilcox -Park 2-4,2R, Petschl 3-3 2R Echelbarger Kerr 3-4 3R.

5/3: Distinctive Glass-6, 3D-0: Corey Kispert & Jordan Rice pitched a great game for DGI as they held 3D in check all night.  Timely hitting by DGI, Blake leads off the game with a base hit followed by a shot off the wall by Matthew Gerhardt. this helped DGI to a 2 to 0 lead after the first inning.   3D pitched well and kept the game close.  In the 5th  Alec Bergstrom hit a shot up the  middle and two runs scored..  A well played game by both teams. 

5/2: 3D Roofing-6, Point B-6: Another tie ball game to be continued. Good pitching, defense and clutch hitting by both teams on a very windy and cool night.

5/2: 3D Roofing-28, Echelbarger-8: (completion of continuation game, 2&1/3 inning played)

5/1: Wilcox-11, 3D-10: (in continuation of game played 4/24) 3D scored two runs in the top of the seventh but Wilcox came back and scored three in the bottom half of the inning,  Nathan Heilpap had the walk off game winning base hit.

5/1: Wilcox-4, 3D-2: Jesse Reynolds and George Reidy pitched well for their teams.  Carson Truong 3-3 and game winning RBI in the sixth.

5/1: Windermere 13, Point B-6:  Point B started out strong with 3 runs in the 1st inning, adding 2 in the 2nd and 1 more in the 3rd. Windermere came back to tie the game in the 3rd at 6. Along with smart base running and active bats, Windermere tacked on 7 runs in the 4th inning to take the lead for good. Dominic Marinez hit his 1st bomb of the year.  Windermere highlights: Zach Meicho (2-3, 2 1B) Zach Kingsbury (2-2, 2 1B) Dominic Marinez (2-4, 1 HR, 1 1B) . Point B highlights: Garrison Krohn and Jason Wilkie both with 2 runs scored.

5/1: Insurance Res.-4, Showcase-2: Well played game by both teams. Houston Schmutz and Nick Hull had the mound for IRG and took the bats away from Showcase. Brandon Mitchell played a great defensive game and scored 2 runs. Nick Hull went 2-4. Harry White and Hunter Shouse both had hits and runs scored for Showcase.

5/1: Harbor Square-5, Sparta's-4 in (7 innings): A well-pitched and exciting game.  Michael Epoch scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning for Harbor Square, after Stuart Smith of Sparta's had tied the game in the top of the sixth with a dramatic home run.  Tyler Rheinford and Stuart Smith both pitched well for six innings each.  Harbor Square had a balanced attack, with hits from six different hitters, led by two from Colton Witsman.  Max Johnson had two hits for Sparta's.

5/1: DGI-15, Echelbarger-7: Well DGI brought the bats tonight.  Blake Bergstrom started the game off with a double as DGI put up 3 in the first.  Alec Bergstrom threw the first two innings and held Echelbarger in check--0 runs.  Jordan Rice kept Echelbarger off balance  with a very effective curve ball for 2 innings.  Every player on DGI got a hit.  Matthew Gerhardt & Corey Kispert both hit home runs.  Tommy Dimmock, Blake Bergstrom, Corey Kispert, Jeremy Langsted, Ian Tro all had multiple hits.  Ethan Hopkins and Christen Jansen multiple hits for Echelbarger. 

4/29: Showcase-19, Echelbarger-6: Echelbarger had an early lead thru 2 innings but Showcase got on the bats scoring 19 runs in the final 4 innings. Hunter Shouse and Harry White both had triples. Gavin Connors, Duncan Cull and Dylan Ronish all had doubles. Gavin Connors took the mound in relief and pitched 3 scoreless innings. For Echelbarger, Keaton McKay went 2-4 and Issac Jackson had a triple going 2-3.

4/29: Spartas-6, DGI-4: Spartas struck first with a five-run second inning, DGI answered with 2 in the third, and Spartas added one more in the fifth.  DGI then rallied for two in the top of six.  Max Johnson went five innings, spreading out 4 hits along with 11 K and 2 BB.  Stuart Smith got the job done in the 6th.  Spencer Schultz, Joey Oda, and Trevor Hendricks all had two hits for Spartas, Matthew Gerheardt went 3-3 with a 2B for DGI. 

4/28: Windermere-2, IRG-0: This was a well pitched game between Nick Woodside and Brady Edwards, both pitching complete games. Clutch hits by Zach Meicho and Jackson Kettel knocked in Trenton Lusebrink and Carson Dallas in the 4th inning to give Windermere the lead and then held on to finish the game. Nick Woodside threw a 3 hitter with 6 k's for IRG and Brady Edwards threw a 3 hitter with 14 k's for Windermere. 

4/28: Harbor Square-9, Point B-0: Griffin Small throws a complete game for Harbor Square, with 12 strikeouts.  Harbor Square's offensive attack was led by two home runs from Tyler Rheinford and one homer from Kit Teer.  Jaxen Lawrence and Griffin Small had two hits each.  Justin Fehler pitched well for Point B.

4/27: Sparta's-5, Wilcox-1

4/27: Showcase-3, 3D Roofing-3: 7 innings completed, game to be continued! Good pitching duel between Shay Kivlen and Harry White. Both teams had scoring chances in later innings and were unable to get the go ahead. Game will be continued at a later date.

4/26: Echelbarger and IRG rained out after 1 inning, will continue game at later date.

4/26: Point B vs. 3D Roofing cancelled for rain. To be rescheduled.

4/24: Wilcox-5, Point B-11: Just as the wind eased up Saturday afternoon, the Point B bats starting making some of their own.  Heading into the bottom of the third and holding on to a 4-3 lead, Jack Popke doubled to the right field gap. Alex Panek, Jason Wilkie, Cam Vogel, Jack Kennelly and Garrison Krohn all followed with hits of their own. The 6-run inning for Point B proved to be the difference in the game.  Justin Fehler and Matt Anderson teamed up on the mound for Point B's victory.

4/24: Sparta's-3, Showcase-2: What a pitcher's duel!  Brock Davis for Spartas and Zach Plummer for Showcase both go the distance in a very well played, defensive game. Tied into the bottom of 6, Spartas gets their run on a well hit ball by Joey Oda with loaded bases.

4/24: Harbor Square-9, Echelbarger-2: A well-played game by both teams' defenses, with excellent plays made all over the field.   Echelbarger struck first, with two runs in the third inning, but Harbor Square came back to go ahead for good in the fourth.  Harbor Square's attack was led by Tyler Rheinford and Griffin Small with three hits each, while Michael Epoch and Kit Teer had two hits each.  Nathan Navlet had two hits for Echelbarger.

4/23: Windermere-9, 3D Roofing-5:  

4/23: DGI-5, IRG-3: On a cold night with rain off and on.  Matthew Gerhardt kept IRG off balance all night.  4 innings pitched--10K's & 0 runs allowed. Tommy Dimmock came in and pitched well in the 5th &6th innings. Timely hitting by DGI, Both Ian Tro and Alec Bergstrom had long doubles for RBI's.  Blake Bergstrom came off the bench to go 1 for 1 with a key RBI late in the game.  Houston pitched well for IRG, holding DGI to just one run thru 4 innings. Nice game by both teams

4/22: Showcase-12, Point B-9: A game that remained close through the last inning. Point B bats were hot with doubles by Matt Anderson, Jason Wilkie, Justin Fehler, Jack Popke, and Garrison Krohn (2). Showcase was able to match the offense and score a couple in each inning for the win.

4/22: Ins. Resource-12, Sparta's-11: It took extra innings to decide this see-saw battle. In a classic Little League game it came down to who got the last at-bats...and that was IRG. Trailing 11-9 going into the bottom of the 7th inning, IRG was able to scratch out three runs and a victory. Good pitching, solid hitting, some standout defensive plays and a few errors mixed-in led to a game that sent both coaches looking for extra blood pressure medicine. 

4/21: Harbor Square-10, Wilcox-4: Andrew Sudol throws a complete game for the win.  The Harbor Square hitting attack was led by Griffin Small and Kit Teer with three hits each.  Nick Loan, Jaxen Lawrence and Kameron Krall had two hits each for Harbor Square.  Wilcox was led by George Reidy and Nathan Heilpap, who had two hits each, and Connor Whitehouse, who hit his first home run of the season!

4/21: Windermere-6, Distinctive Glass-0: Dominic Marinez lead the team by throwing a complete game with only 4 hits, 8 k's and ended with a shutout. Alec Bergstrom and Corey Kispert both pitched well for Distinctive Glass. Kosta Cooper went 2-4 with a 2B and 1B to jump start Windermere with Dominic adding 2 RBI's along with Carson Dallas and Zach Meicho each putting a timely RBI in the books.  

4/20: 3D Roofing vs Echelbarger: Game ended due to the lights in the bottom of the 4th with 3D leading. Game to be continued before these teams match up again. 

4/20:  Wilcox-8, Distinctive Glass-0:  Matthew Lico had an outstanding night on the mound, striking out 9 and shutting out Distinctive Glass over 5 innings.  Matthew Park and Nathan Heilpap led the Wilcox offense with three hits each.  Distinctive Glass mounted a furious rally in the bottom of the sixth, highlighted by Matthew Gerhardt's line drive grand slam off the scoreboard, but time ran out
and the score reverted back to the end of the 5th inning.

4/19: Windermere-7, Sparta's-2: Great baseball game with Spartas producing 2 quick runs in the top of the first only to have Windermere battle back in the bottom half with 4 runs. Stuart Smith had a well pitched game going all 5 innings for Spartas. Brady Edwards, Dominic Marinez and Trenton Lusebrink shared the pitching role for Windermere teaming up to get 12 k's. Clutch hitting from Carson Dallas, Zach Meicho and Henry Tillman kept the offense rolling for Windermere. Dominic (2-3, 1B, 2B), Spartas Max Johnson (2-4, 2 1B, BB).

4/19: Showcase-9, Harbor Sq-6: Griffin Small threw well for Harbor Square, but Showcase offense was geared up for his fast ball and was able to score in 5 of the 6 innings. Harry White & Duncan Cull both had 3B and Gavin Connors had a solid 2B. Zach Plummer threw for the Show and was sharp, but gave up 1 HR to Tyler Rheinford.

4/17: Windermere-17, 3D-1: Windermere came out strong as the bats were busy and Zach Meicho lead the way going 3 for 5 at the plate. Solid contributions from the entire team.

4/17: Wilcox-14, Showcase-10: George Ready started for Wilcox and pitched a great game shutting down showcase. Offense was also on fire with a couple of big innings. For Showcase Duncan Cull knocked his first one out of the park to keep Showcase in the game.

4/17: Ins. Resource-7, Point B-4: In a four inning/rain shortened game, IRG and Point B went at it with some good pitching and patient at-bats.Trailing 4-1 going into the top of the 4th inning, IRG put six runs up to take a 7-4 lead that held as the game was called in the top of the 5th due to rain, lots of rain. Daniel Hendricks and Quinn Walker led the 4th inning hit attack for IRG with doubles. William Peters added a single and a run on his birthday. Point B: Jack Kennelly 2B, Jason Wilkie 2B.

4/17: Distinctive Glass-3, Harbor Sq-1: Great pitching by Matthew Gerhardt  4 2/3 inning--12 K's & 1 run allowed, also had 2 triples. Jordan Rice pitched well for the save. Tyler Rienford pitched well for Harbor Square. A very well played game by both teams.  Charles McDonald caught a hard hit line drive, with a little help from his stomach--NICE CATCH !!!

4/17: Spartas-15, Echelbarger-4: Austin Steen went 5 innings with Brock Davis finishing in the 6th while spreading out 8 hits total for Echelbarger.  Max Johnson, Jack Blahous, and Brock Davis each had three hits for Spartas, with four others notching two apiece.  Gunnar Brent knocked three hits for Echelbarger.

4/15: Showcase-8, Distinctive-7: A great 7 inning battle between Showcase & Distinctive. Gavin Connors pitched a great 4 innings and Hunter Shouse finished the bottom 3. Showcase offense had Dustin 3-5 w/ go ahead RBI in 7th, Dylan 2-4, Hunter 3-3 w/ two doubles. Brooks DuBois finished the game up w/a great catch in RF for the win. Matthew Gearhardt went 3-5 for Distinctive, Corey Kispert 2-3 to keep the heat on Showcase.

4/15: Echelbarger-9, Point B-5: Echelbarger had a great game at bat, helped by Dylan Turner going 3-3 with a 3B and a 2B bringing home two runs. Nathaniel Kerr, Keaton McKay and Ethan Hopkins all went 2-4. Keaton McKay, on the mound for 6 innings, struck out 8 to lead Echelbarger to a win. Point B's Matt Anderson goes 2-3 and brings in an RBI.  Both teams dueled it out right to the sixth inning for a competitive game.

4/14: Harbor Square-8, Insurance Resorce-2: Two hits each for Harbor Square's Kameron Krall, Tyler Rheinford, and Andrew Sudol. Pitchers Tyler Rheinford and Griffin Small combined for the win. Nick Hull had two hits for IRG.

4/14: Spartas-8, 3D-3: Max Johnson went 5 2/3 innings, spreading out 8 hits while recording 8 K's and no walks.  He helped his own cause by taking a ball deep for a 2-run HR in the first.  Max, Spencer Schultz, and Mason Harvey all had two hits for Spartas.  Jesse Reynolds, Shay Kivlen, and Jacob O'Connell all had two hits for 3D.

4/13: Windermere-8, Point B-3: Windermere got out to the early lead with 4 runs in the first. Dominic Marinez and Trenton Lusebrink were solid from the hill and Zach Meicho did his part by having a solid game at the plate with a single and a double for the offensive side. Point B's Kyle Grund and Michael Bauer pitched a good game and helped their team keep Windermere in striking distance.  

4/13: Ins. Resource-8, Distinctive Glass-3: Great pitching and solid defense was the order of the night for IRG as Nick Woodside went 5 innings keeping Distinctive batters off balance all night. Nick Hull came in and finished up the 6th inning for IRG on the mound. IRG struck first with three in the bottom of the first on a hard double from Houston Schmutz. Distinctive answered back with 2 in the top of the 2nd with a couple clutch hits. Brandon Mitchell then hit a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 3rd to give IRG a lead DGI could not overcome.

4/12: Spartas-14, Wilcox-0: Spencer Schultz went 3-4 with a HR and 4 RBI and pitched 3 solid innings.  Austin Steen and Jack Blahous both added 2 hits, as did Noah Coleman to go with his 4 RBI.

4/12: Harbor Square-11, 3D Roofing-3: Colton Witsman had two hits including a home run for Harbor Square.  Andrew Sudol and Tyler Rheinford also had two hits apiece.  Jesse Reynolds had two hits for 3D Roofing.

4/11: 3D Roofing-9, Echelbarger-5: (rain make-up) Jesse Reynolds pitched well for 3D and one batter short of a full game.  Jesse also was 2-4 at the plate, and scored twice.  Reid Whitson finished up the game and also got on base four times.  Keaton McKay was 2-3 for Echelbarger and scored twice.

4/10: Windermere-5, Showcase-0: Windermere's defense played a huge role behind the solid pitching of Brady Edwards. Brady makes it through 5 1/3 with a no-no until Dustin Chartrand spoils it with a hit to the right side. Brady threw a complete game with 14 strikeouts. Dominic Marinez played outstanding SS and made two highlight catches. This was a great team effort for Windermere.

4/10: IRG vs. Wilcox: IRG had the win, no score reported.

4/10: Spartas-13, Point B-3: Spartas had a good day at the plate...Noah Coleman got things really rolling in the 2nd for Spartas, knocking in 2 with a single and was 2-4 for the day.  Stuart Smith went 2-3, and four others went 2-4 for Spartas.  Brock Davis was solid pitching 5 innings, with Jesse Navlet closing the deal in the 6th, giving up only 4 hits combined.  Justin Fehler and Jason Wilkie both hit doubles for Point B.

4/10: Distinctive Glass-8, 3D Roofing-5: Matthew Gerhardt pitched 3+ innings and allowed just 1 hit and had 10 K's. Alec Bergstrom pitched 2 innings allowed 2 hits and had 6K's. Matthew Gerhardt went 3-4 at the plate, Blake Bergstrom had a sac fly and a nice double to left,  Jordan Rice hit one off of the fence for a double.  Damon Johnson scored twice. Shay Kivlen pitched very good for 3D, Peter McNiel hit a grand slam.

4/10: Harbor Square-17, Echelbarger-9: Home runs from Kit Teer and Colton Witsman for Harbor Square.  Andrew Sudol pitched four innings for the win, followed by Jaxen Lawrence.  Colton Witsman and Andrew Sudol each had three hits, Kit Teer, Jaxen Lawrence and Kameron Krall had two hits apiece.  Nathaniel Kerr had four hits and Keaton McKay had two for Echelbarger.

4/8: Echelbarger-4, Wilcox-2: The game started with George Reidy scoring 1 for Wilcox at the top of the first. Echelbarger returned at the bottom of the first with a triple by Nathaniel Kerr to score with a RBI from Keaton MacKay, who scored the second run at the bottom of the first. Echelbarger earned another run in the second and third innings, while Wilcox earned their second run in the sixth.

4/7: Sparta's-4, Harbor Sq.-2: Tyler Rheinford and Max Johnson both go the distance in a great pitchers game.  Tyler allowed only 4 hits and 3 walks with 11 Ks, Max allowed 5 hits with just 1 walk and 13 Ks.  Harbor Square scored two in the 1st, Spartas answered in the bottom of 2 with two RBI from Jack Blahous.  Austin Steen added two other runs after hits in the 3rd and 5th.  A well-played game by both teams.

4/6: Ins. Resource-7, Showcase-6: After arriving to a field of slop, the two teams went at it in a see-saw battle with great starting pitching from Nick Woodside for IRG and Harry White for Showcase. Showcase got on the board in the 4th inning scoring 3-runs on some shoddy defense by IRG and then some clutch hitting. IRG answered back with 3-runs in the bottom of the 4th inluding a top of the score board denting HR by Houston Schmutz. IRG added four more runs in the 5th including the go-ahead run scored by Ben Hermes off an RBI by Reid Friday for a lead Showcase couldn't overcome. Showcase: Dustin Chartrand 2-3 w/sac. Thanx again to all the parents and coaches for taking an hour to make the field playable.

4/5: 3D Roofing-7, Point B-2: 3D's Jacob O'Connell pitched a one-hitter through 4 innings and then was ably relieved by Lee Bruemmer and Jesse Reynolds.  3D's defense played an error free game which was highlighted by their first double play of the season.  Point B shut down 3D after the 2nd inning with good pitching and defense.

4/3: Showcase-20, Echelbarger-4: Showcase offense showed up through the entire lineup. Brooks DuBois led the team with 4 RBI's. Dustin, Dylan, and Harry all went 3-5 with another 9 runs scored. Harry White gets the win and Duncan Cull had his first outing in relief and showed he could pitch out of a jamb. Ethan Hopkins for Echelbarger had a solid game scoring 2 runs and starting on the mound.

4/3: Harbor Square-3, Point B-2: A well-played and exciting game in the cold and wind.  Harbor Square scored the winning runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on a two-run single by Griffin Small.  Harbor Square pitchers Andrew Sudol, Griffin Small, and Tyler Rheinford held Point B to three hits for the game, all singles.  Point B pitchers held their own as well, with good outings from Cameron Vogel, Michael Bauer, and Matt Anderson.

4/3: Wilcox-8, 3D Roofing-8: Game was tied after 6 innings and will be continued before they match up again.

4/3: Sparta's-13, Distinctive Glass-1: Spencer Schultz hit a grand slam early in the game to get things rolling for Sparta's.  Stuart Smith pitched a 78-pitch CG, allowed two hits, 3 BB's, and struck out five, and was backed by outstanding defense all game.  Austin Steen and Brock Davis both went 2-3, Jack Blahous went 2-4.

4/3: Windermere-6, Ins. Resource-2: Windermere started the game with 2 runs in the first inning to take the lead and held on throughout the game. Brady Edwards pitched a solid one-hit game going 5 2/3 innings with 10 k's. IRG's only hit was a huge 2 run bomb by Houston Schmutz to bring them within 1 run in the bottom of the 3rd. Dominic Marinez (2-4, 2B, 3B), Henry Tillman and Zach Meicho added 3 more runs in the 5th inning to give Windermere some breathing room. It was a great team effort for Windermere with Dominic coming in to close the game in the bottom of the 6th with 3 pitches.

4/1: Windermere-10, Wilcox-1: Kosta Cooper threw five good innings for Windermere with Zac Kinsbury closing in the 6th. Henry Tillman had a breakout night going 3 for 3 at the plate and Trenton Lusebrink goes yard for his first HR of the season. George Reidy pitched a solid 4 innings for Wilcox.

3/31: 3D Roofing-7, Showcase-2: Good all around showing by 3D.  Jacob O'Connell and Shay Kivlen pitched well and defense held when it needed to hold.  Mitchell Bolin hit a timely two run homer that energized the 3D team.

3/30: Distinctive-17, Point B-6: DGI brought the bats to the field tonight with every player scoring at least one run. Blake pitched 3 innings allowing 2 hits & 4 K' & went 2-4 at the plate. Charles McDonald was 2-4. Jordan RIce and Jake Stevenson each scored 3 runs. Alec Bergstrom had a very long shot that went for a double. Ian Tro's first game  in the Majors, went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Corey Kispert had a nice game going 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Point B: Garrison Krohn was 2-2, plus a walk, including a double off the wall. Cammeron Vogel scored 2 runs.

3/29: Ins. Resource-6, Echelbarger-1: It was a dark and stormy night at Lynndale Park as Insurance Resource Group and Echelbarger faced off for the first time this season. Great pitching and defense from both sides made for a clean, fun game, though very cold and wet. Reid Friday tossed a complete game for IRG allowing only one unearned run. Isaac Jackson had the mojo working as he went the distance on the mound for Echelbarger keeping the IRG bats in check for most of the night. Garret Hiebel went 1-2 with a double for IRG and Houston Schmutz hit his second dinger of the year. Hats off to all the parents that spent over an hour making the field playable.

3/27: Ins. Resource-6, 3D Roofing-5: Game featured some good pitching on both sides. Tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the 6th, Nick O'Brien led off for IRG with a double and took third on a passed ball. Quinn Walker singled him home for the winning run. Reid Whitson had a great day at the plate for 3D going 3-4 with a double and 2-run jimmie-jack.

3/27: Wilcox-11, Point B-3

3/27: Sparta's-10, Showcase-1: Stuart Smith pitched Complete Game, went 3-4 with a HR. Joey Oda adds one hr, and Spencer Schultz also went 3-4. Harry White went 2-3 for Showcase.

3/27: Harbor Sq.-6, Windermere-1: Tyler Rheinford pitched 5 2/3 innings for the win.  Griffin Small had two hits, including a home run.  Zach Walsh and Kameron Krall each had two hits as well for Harbor Square.  Brady Edwards had two hits for Windermere.

3/27: Distinctive-7, Echelbarger-0: Matthew Gerhardt pitched a complete game, 2 hits, 12 k's, Jeremy Langsted scored three runs.

3/24: Windermere-4, Ins. Resource-3:Windermere jumped on top in the 1st inning and then added 2 more in the 3rd behind a 63 pitch complete game for Brady Edwards. IRG tied the game at 3-3 with base hits from Nick Hull, Nick Woodside and a HR from Houston Schmutz. Dominic Marinez singles in the game winning RBI in the  5th inning. Carson  Dallas had a great game and hit 2-2 and Brady Edwards at 3-3.

3/24: Distinctive Glass-7, Harbor Sq.-1: Highlights, Griffen Small--solo home run, Alec Bergstrom pitched 5 innings, 7k's, 3 hits & 1 run, and went 2 for 3 at the plate Core Kispert pitched great in the 6th inning to close out the game.

3/23: Showcase-16, Point B-1 : Matt Anderson shut down the top of the showcase lineup for 3 quick outs early and put a run up with big hits from Cameron Vogel and Garrison Krohn. In the second Showcase came on strong and put up 4 never looking back. The entire lineup for Showcase hit well tonight. Hunter Shouse had 2 close ones off the fence.

3/23: Harbor Sq.-4, Wilcox-3: A well-played game.  Wilcox scored two runs in the top of the 5th to take the lead, but Tyler Rheinford hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 5th to knock in the winning runs.

3/22: Windermere-8, Echelbarger-3: Windermere took the lead in the 1st. They maintained the lead with pitching by Trenton Lusebrink giving up only 2 hits and Kosta Cooper closing out the game. Brady and Dominic paired up for 5 of the 8 runs scored. Ethan Hopkins pitched a good game for Echelbarger going 4 2/3 innings. 

3/22: Distinctive-5, Sparta's-4: Solid pitching by both teams, Spencer Schultz with a 3 run home run great defense by both Spartas and DGI, Tommy Dimmock was 2 for 3, game winning catch by Blake Bergstrom at the fence!

3/20: Point B-5, Insurance Resorce 8:  In a seesaw battle, Point B took an early 2-0 lead, but IRG came back to take a 5-2 lead.  Point B tied it up 5-5, but in the 5th inning, Brandon Mitchell's 3-run homer put IRG ahead for good.

3/20: Showcase-15, Wilcox-2: Showcase Came out to an early lead in the 1st due to several erros by Wilcox. Harry White pitched for Showcase and looked very good. Wilcox started Matthew Lico and he also had a solid game on the hill. It was a beautiful day for baseball.

3/20: Sparta's-24, Echelbarger-2: Spencer Schultz hit 2 hr, Brock Davis added one hr.

3/20: Harbor Square-9, 3D Roofing-2: Shay Kivlen for 3D had 4 hits, Harbor Square's Colton Witsman had 4 hits and Zach Walsh with 3 hits.
