BATTLE OF THE BLUES Final - Blue Jays take the Championship!

Blue Jays 2nd year in a row

It was 53 degrees outside but that didn't stop the heat from being turned up Thursday night at Edmonds Woodway High School. Coach Mike Burdett's Blue Jays won in an action packed game against Coach Joe Webster's Blue Angels - final score 15 to 9. "Each team played fantastic, showing true sportsmanship and class", said one spectator. The stands were packed and while people tried to stay warm on the chilly June night, throughout the evening, the energy level was high as both teams played their hearts out. Another parent expressed her happiness at the way the girls from both teams pitched the entire game.

Mike Burdett shares his thanks with his assistant coaches: Scott Wooley, Ernie Debela, Greg Beach, "Grandpa" and a special thanks to Coach Leon.
