6/2 Game Pilots defeat Alderwood 8-5
Well played game by the Pilots led to their first victory of the season over a good Alderwood team. Ben Arrants started going 4-2/3 strong innings, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits with 4 K's & 3 BB. Austin Herron finished of the game shutting Alderwood down, giving up only one hit to the 9 batters he faced. The defensive play of the game came in the 5th with Alderwood having scored 1 run and threatening with runners on 1st & 3rd with 2 outs and their best hitter at the plate, catcher Brian Webster made a perfect throw to nail the runner at 2nd base on an attempted double steal, shutting down the Alderwood rally. Offensive stars were Eric Jones 3-5 w/2 runs and Brian Webster 1-3 (1BB) w/2 runs and his 3rd home run of the season. Also contributing with 1 hit each were Anthony McIntosh, Sam Palmer, Nickolai Curtis, Tristan Sateren and Ben Arrants.

Panthers defeat Alderwood 8-3
Tyeson Harbin, Corey Liddil, and Miles Laven combined for the win, effectively shutting down the Alderwood attack. Despite a one week layoff, the Panthers played well defensively. Offensively, Corey Liddil (2/3, 2b), Ben Zimmerman (2/3), and Ben Cruz (2/2, 1bb) each had a good night with the stick. Miles Laven (+2bb), Weston Carrothers (+1bb), Tyeson Harbin and Anthony Smeester contributed with one hit each.

Devils defeat Mukilteo #1 10-9
A.J. Davis pitched 3 1/3 solid innings with only 2 runs scored. Bennett Holton took over in the 4th and pitched 2 innings with 6 K's. Andrew Mahoney-Fernandes 1 1/3 innings did his job but defense slipped and Mukilteo scored 7 runs. The Devils had some good offense with a couple of highlights. Jerad Boss had a 1 run HR in the bottom of the 1st inning. And A.J. Davis came to the plate in the bottom of the 7th with the game tied, runners on 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs. With a 2-1 count he laced a hit down the 3rd base line that scored the runner from 3rd base and win the game.

Panthers tie Mukilteo #1 7-7
Mukilteo Pirates and the Panthers played to a 7-7 draw. The Panthers jumped out early, scoring 4 runs in the first two innings, then the Pirates took a 5-4 lead into the bottom of the 7th. The Panthers were able to scratch out one run to force the game into the 8th. The Pirates scored two more runs and again the Panthers were forced to come from behind. In their half of the eighth, Weston Carrothers slapped a lead off single, Corey Liddil reached base on a fielder's choice, Ben Cruz reached on a Pirate error, then Glen Hodges and Gage Jackson each got hits to score Corey and Ben tying the game again. At that point, the game was halted due to darkness and weather. Miles Laven fired a crafty 6 2/3 innings, then Corey Liddil closed for the Panthers. Because this was the final time the two teams were scheduled to meet for the season, this game will not be continued. Corey led the Panthers offensive attack (2/4) by crushing his fourth home run of the season. Weston Carrothers (1/2), Tyeson Harbin (1/4), Ben Cruz (1/4-double), Glen Hodges (1/2) and Gage Jackson (1/2) each contributed as well.
5/24 Game Devils defeat Mukilteo #2 5-3
Jerad Boss, Bennett Holton and Jack Case pitched 7 solid innings. The scattered 3 runs over 7 innings with 6 K's. The Devils played some great small ball to generate 5 runs.
5/22 Games Panthers defeat Mukilteo #2 12-10
Corey Liddil, Gabe Kerr, Weston Carrothers, Ben Cruz and Miles Laven each took the bump for the Panthers to keep the Red Sox off balance. The Panthers started a bit slow, but in typical fashion go the bats going in the late innings. Going into the bottom of the 5th, the Red Sox held a 9-2 lead, but the Panthers scored 7 to knot the game at 9, then scored three more in the 6th to hold on for the 12-10 victory. Offensively, the Panthers were powered by Corey Liddil (3/4, 3 doubles), Tyeson Harbin (2/4), Weston Carrothers (1/3), Gabe Kerr (1/3), and Ben Cruz (0/0, 4 BB).
Panthers defeat Alderwood 11-2
Tyeson Harbin nearly went the distance (6 2/3 innings) and frustrated the Alderwood attack all day long. In relief, Ben Zimmerman took the bump for the first time of the season and got the last out. Corey Liddil (1/3) smashed his third home run of the year, and Tyeson Harbin (3/4), Weston Carrothers (2/3), Ben Zimmerman (1/3), Zak Ott (2/2), Anthony Smeester, and Gabe Kerr (1/2) each had good afternoons at the plate. The Panthers were also solid defensively all afternoon.
Devils defeat Mukilteo #1 21-8
The Devils put up some crooked numbers in the top of the 1st by scoring 8 runs and 2 more in the 3rd. Austin Panek pitched solidly into the top of the 6th inning giving up only 2 runs. The Pirates made a game of it in the bottom of the 6th. With the help of 2 errors, 2 walks and a grand slam HR to make the score 10-8 going into the top of the 7th. The Devils came alive in the top of the 7th with 7 singles and a base clearing double by A.J. Davis to score 11 runs. Jerad Boss closed the 7th with a ground out and two K's.
Pilots defeat Mukilteo #1 5-3
The Devils played just well enough to win this game, coming up short on several opportunites to put the game out of reach. They had the bases loaded with 1 out in each of the first three innings, but only managed to score 5 runs. Gus McGlocklin and Cole Olson combined to hold the Mukilteo lineup down most of the day, only giving up three runs.
5/21 Game Devils defeat Mill Creek 9-1
The Devils had a solid defensive game and great pitching. A.J. Davis pitched 6 innings and kept Mill Creek to just one run. Andrew Mahoney-Fernandes came in to close out the 7th inning. Offensively the Devils put up numbers in all but one inning.
5/18 Game Devils defeat Alderwood 10-8
Bennett Holton was the starting pitcher and had a solid outing. He was roughed up in the 3rd when 4 runs scored due to 2 errors and a 3 run HR. 2 more errors in the 4th led to 3 more runs to be scored. This put Alderwood up 7 to 3 going into the bottom of the 5th. The Devil's bats came alive with 3 singles, 1 double and a 2 run HR by Bennett for a total of 7 runs putting the Devil's up 10-7. Jack Case came in to pitch for the Devils for his first pitching outing of the year. He pitched a steady diet of heat in the 6th with Alderwood scoring only one run. Jack then closed out the 7th with a ground out and two K's.
5/17 Games Panthers defeat Pilots 10-5
Panthers defeat Pilots, 10-5 on a complete game thrown by Tyeson Harbin. The Panthers exerted offensive pressure by scoring in all but the 3rd and 4th innings behind Corey Liddil's (1/2, HR, 2BB) second home run of the season. Tyeson Harbin (3/4), Travis Lyon (2/4), Miles Laven (2/4), Ben Zimmerman (1/1, 1BB), and Glen Hodges (1/2) each had good nights at the plate and the Panthers were solid defensively. Dylan Herron made his first pitching appearance of the season for the Pilots striking out 2 with only two walks in two good innings. Trailing 8-1 in the bottom of the 6th, the Pilots first four batters all scored to make it 8-5, but Tyeson's strong pitching shut down the rally in the 6th and continued into the 7th closing out the game. Offensively the Pilots were led by Cole Olson (2/3), Ben Arrants (2/3), Brian Webster (2/3) and Austin Herron (1/3).
Devils defeat Mukilteo #2 10-9
Austin Panek pitched 5 2/3 innings to keep Mukilteo #2 to 5 runs. The Devils kept the game close with 8 runs of their own through 6 innings. The Devils scored one run in the 7th to give them 9. Andrew Mahoney-Fernandes came into the game in the 6th inning and pitched 1 1/3 innings, Mukilteo rallied for 4 runs in the 6th and 7th inning to tie up the game in the bottom of the 7th. In extra innings the Devils pushed one run across the plate with Bennett Holton scoring on a passed ball. Bennett Holton then pitched the bottom of the eighth with a ground out and 2 strike outs to earn the win for the Devils.

Panthers defeat Mukilteo #1 16-10
Travis Lyon, Miles Laven and Tyeson Harbin combined for the Panther victory. Offensively, the Panthers were powered by Weston Carothers (3/4, 2BB), Glen Hodges (3/3), and Ben Zimmerman (2/3, 2BB). In fact, the entire team showed good plate discipline in collecting 14 BB's. The Panthers took advantage of their many base runners by running the bases well and keeping constant pressure on Mukilteo's pitching and defense.
Pilots defeat Mill Creek 10-3
This game was dominated by great pitching by Drew Kristjanson, going 4-2/3 innings striking out 10 while only giving up 3 runs. Franky Corner came in during a tough spot with bases loaded in the 5th and only gave up one hit, with a strike out for the final out. He finished off the 6th and 7th striking out 3 of the sixth batters he faced. Offensive stars were many today, with Eric Jones going 3-4 w/2 runs, Austin Herron 2-4 w/2 runs, Sam Palmer 1-1 (1BB), Franky Corner 1-2 w/1 run, Gus McGlocklin 1-2 and Cole Olson 1-1 (1BB). Another solid win by the Pilots.

Panthers defeat Mukilteo #2 5-4
The Panthers started slow offensively by failing to score in the first 5 innings. In the 6th, the Panthers broke out, scoring 4 runs to take a 4-2 lead into the 7th. Mukilteo scratched out two more runs, tying the game 4-4 for the Panther's last ups. Gabe Kerr got the Panther's 7th off to a great start by getting a lead off walk and then stealing second base. Gabe then advanced to third base on a fielder's choice. With two outs in the 7th, Miles Laven pressed the count to 3-2 before stroking a solid single (1-2. 1BB) to score Gabe for another exciting Panther victory. Corey Liddil led the way offensively (2-3), and Tyeson Harbin and Ben Cruz also contributed with one hit each.
Devils defeat Mill Creek 17-2
The Devils had a dominating game over Mill Creek in 5 innings. Jerad Boss pitched 4 strong innings with Mill Creek only scoring 2 runs. Bennett Holton came in for relief in the 5th to close out the game. The Devils were hitting machines. Over the 5 innings the Devils scored 17 runs.
5/12 Game Devils defeat Alderwood 15-13
This was a high run scoring, high pitch count game. A.J. Davis started for the Devils and although he threw a lot of pitches and had several full counts he held Alderwood to 4 runs in 3 2/3 innings. Andrew Mahoney-Fernandes came in for relief in the 4th and pitched 3 innings with a high pitch count and more walks with Alderwood scoring 5 more runs. Bennett Holton came in to close with bases loaded and gave up a few hits but retained the save. Over the course of the 7 innings the Devils were able to have 15 runs cross the plate.

Pilots defeat Mukilteo #2 21-6
Leading by a close 5-4 margin going into the 6th the Pilots scored three runs and then blew it wide open in the 7th scoring 13 runs, sending 17 batters to the plate. All but two players had at least one hit, with exceptional nights from Eric Jones, 4-5 (1BB) w/3 runs, and Brian Webster 5-6 w/3 runs. Strong pitching by Cole Olson for four innings kept the game close, allowing Gus McGlocklin to come in to close things out, only giving up 2 runs in the 7th. Great team game by the Pilots!

Another great pitching performance by Austin Panek, throwing a 1-run complete game, striking out 9 with no walks. Austin contributed with the bat as well, going 2-3 with a leadoff home run in the 4th inning. Jarad Boss also had a home run, while also going 2-3. Andrew Mahoney-Fernandez, Bennett Holton, Jack Case, Jackson Mindt also contributed with hits.

Devils defeat Panthers 4-2
A gutsy performance by Jerad Boss, who pitched 6 innings with his breaking ball never quite working for him, but was able to stay out of trouble with strong defense behind him. Bennett Holton came in to pitch the seventh inning, and walked the first batter, but was then able to get three straight outs, including a great over the shoulder catch by Jackson Mindt and a strong throw from right fielder Spence Graham to first base to get the final out. Hits by Austin Panek, Andrew Mahoney-Fernandez, Jerad Boss and Bennett Holton were able to produce the 4 runs to help the Devils win.

Panthers defeat Mill Creek 4-1
The Panthers got off to a slow start, but strong pitching from Corey Liddil, Gage Kerr and Tyeson Harbin allowed the Panthers to scratch out the victory. The bottom of the Panther order was responsible for almost all of the offensive productions as the Panthers big bats were almost completely silent. Gage Jackson, Travis Lyon, Andersen Ross, Gabe Kerr, and Anthony Smeester contributed one hit each. Corey Liddil reached base on 3 walks and, in his only at bat, Glen Hodges slapped a single...nice job Glen!

This game was dominated by the incredibly strong pitching performance of Austin Panek, who threw 6-1/3 innings before reaching the pitch count limit. He struck out 13 while only walking two, giving up 4 unearned runs. Great job Austin!

Devils defeat Alderwood 2-1
The Devils started a new pitcher today, Spencer Graham. For his first time out he did a great job holding Alderwood to just one run in 1 2/3 innings and striking out Alderwood's #4 hitter. The Devils brought in Austin Panek who shut down Alderwood for the next 4 1/3 innings. In the 3rd inning the Devils pushed two runs across to take the lead, the second run produced by a squeeze play. Bennett Holton came in to close out the game in the 7th. Bennett struck out the first batter, but gave up a double to right field to the next batter. Alderwood's #4 hitter was up next, and was intentionally walked. Bennett then struck out the next two batters to seal the victory.
Pilots defeat Mill Creek 10-6
The Pilots started off slow, but came on strong at the end to secure the victory. Ben Arrants pitched 5 strong innings, giving up only 6 runs on 11 hits. He pitched out of 3 bases loaded jams to keep his team in the game. Cole Olson came on in the 6th to shut down the opposition giving up only 1 hit of the 7 batters he faced, striking out two. The offense finally woke up in the 3rd scoring 3 runs to tie the game, and then scored 7 runs in the 5th and 6th to take the lead. Big days offensively for Brian Webster 4-4 w/1 run, Ben Arrants 2-3 (1BB) w/3 runs, Eric Jones 1-3 (1BB) w/3 runs and Dylan Herron 1-2 w/1 run. Tristan Sateren had a huge two out hit in the bottom of the sixth to score 1 run and keep the late inning rally alive.

The Panthers got off to a fast start, scoring 3 runs in the 1st, but then went flat both offensively and defensively, entering the top of the 7th, down 6-4. In what has become all too common, the Panthers made the most of their final three outs breaking the game wide open with 9 runs in their half of the 7th just before sending Corey Liddil to the bump to secure the victory. Tyeson Harbin started and tossed 5 strong innings giving way to Ben Cruz for one inning of relief. Offensively, the Panthers were powered by Travis Lyon (3/5), Ben Cruz (3/5), Tyeson Harbin (2/5), Corey Liddil (1/3, 2BB), and Gabe Kerr (3/4) had a break out night with the "aerospace-cryogenic-alloy" lumber. Zack Ott, Ben Zimmerman, and Andersen Ross also contributed with one hit each.

Alderwood defeats Pilots 10-9 in 8 innings
The Pilots battled hard all night long, but just couldn't pull it out in the end. Gus McGlocklin had another strong pitching performance giving up only 2 hits and striking out 8 of the 20 batters he faced. Austin Herron and Eric Jones kept the game close in relief. The defensive play of the game came in the bottom of the 7th with no outs and the bases loaded the infield was drawn in when Drew Kristjanson caught a sharply hit line drive and ran to third for an unassisted double play, which help to extend the game to the 8th.

The Panthers pull out another close victory over the Mukilteo Pirates, 6-5. The game was knotted at 5-5 going into the 6th, when the Panthers scored one to take the lead. In the 7th, Tyeson Harbin came in to close the game on the mound and was able to slam the door for the Panthers starter, Corey Liddil, and long middle reliever, Travis Lyon, to preserve the win. Offensively, the Panthers got off to a slow start, but Tyeson Harbin (3/4, HR) got things rolling with his second home run of the season and solid contributions came from: Anthony Smeester (1/3, 1BB), Corey Liddil 1/3, 2BB), Ben Cruz (2/4). Andersen Ross, Travis Lyon, Gage Jackson, and Gabe Kerr each contributed with one hit each. Defensively, Anthony Smeester was solid at second base, smothering a couple of hard hit balls late in the game to make big outs and preserve the victory.

In likely the only baseball game played in the rain-soaked region, the Pilots take advantage of very strong pitching by Cole Olson, giving up only 1 run with 4 K's & 2 BB in 4 innings. Gus McGlocklin closed the door in the fifth striking out 2 of the 4 batters he faced. A 10-run 1st inning followed by a 4-run 2nd sealed the deal early. Offensive stars were Eric Jones 3-3 w/3 runs, Austin Herron 1-3 with a 3-run home run, Gus McGlocklin 1-2 w/1 run, Dylan Herron, 1-3 w/1 run and Anthony McIntosh, 1-2 w/2 runs.

Panthers defeat Pilots 7-5
In a well pitched and well played game by both teams, the Panthers prevail 7-5 in 8 innings. In his best performance of the season, Miles Laven went six strong innings to slow down the Pilots. Tyeson Harbin entered in the 7th to try to hold the lead, but the Pilots battled back to tie the game and force an extra inning. Eric Jones, Ben Arrants, and Cole Olsen pitched well for the Pilots.

Pilots defeat Mukilteo #2 7-5
The Pilots prevail in a well played game by both teams. Falling behind 3-2 in the 1st inning, the Pilots played solid defense to keep the score low and scored 3 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to take the lead for good. Gus McGlocklin pitched great in his first outing of the season, going 3 strong innings giving up only 4 runs on just 4 hits, with 4 K's and 2 BB. Austin Herron finished the game with 4 outstanding innings, giving up just 1 unearned run on 4 hits, with 5 K's and only 1 BB. The offensive stars were many tonight, highlighted by Brian Webster's 2nd home run of the season. Ben Arrants 2-3 w/2 runs, Eric Jones 2-4 w/2 runs, Austin Herron 3-3 w/1 run & a sac fly, Drew Kristjanson 1-2 w/1 run, and Sam Palmer, Nickolai Curtis & Gus McGlocklin each contributed with 1 hit each.

The Panthers offensive attack fell flat in a 9-2 loss to Alderwood. The game was close through the 4th inning, but Alderwood kept up the pressure all night proving too difficult for the Panthers to overcome in this six inning game.

Panthers defeat Devils 6-5
Continuing a string a late comeback victories, the Panthers beat the Red Devils 6-5 on a two out, walk-off, two run, opposite field, home run by Tyeson Harbin. The game was well played and well pitched by both teams, with Tyeson Harbin pitching 6 strong innings for the Panthers and Jerrod Boss going the distance for the Red Devils. The Red Devils led 4-3 at the end of the 4th, then scored one run in the 5th to go up 5-3. In the 6th, Ben Cruz hit a two out, two run, home run to knot the game at 5-5 and then entered the game in the 7th to relieve Tyeson. Ben gave up two hits and a run to the Devils before retiring the side. Leading by one run, Jerrod Boss quickly retired the first two Panthers before giving up a walk to Travis Lyon setting the table for Tyeson's game winning home run. Gabe Kerr and Gage Jackson also contributed hits in the Panthers' winning effort. 4/17 Games

Panthers defeat Mukilteo #2 12-11
The Panthers scored two runs in the top of the 7th to take a one run lead and held on for a 12-11 victory. Pacific started slow defensively, giving up 8 runs in the 1st inning before they were able to slow Mukilteo down. Offensively, Pacific applied steady pressure to climb back into the game: Tyeson Harbin 4-5, Travis Lyon 4-5 (2B), Weston Carrothers 3-5 (2B), and Corey Liddil, Ben Cruz, Gage Jackson, and Ben Zimmerman each contributed with base hits. Miles Laven went four innings and Weston Carrothers provided two innings of solid relief, and Tyeson Harbin slammed the door in the 7th. Another solid come from behind win for the Panthers.
