Page 4 of 8 2009 12 Year Old All Stars Game 1 (1-0) Pacific 5 The 12's came out a bit sluggish their first game, but managed a 5-2 win over Marysville American. Philip Grossenbacher started off the 4th inning with a solo homerun to tie the game at 1-1. Later in the inning Griffin Over had a 2 run double to put them up for good. Max Teer contributed 2 hits, including a very timely bunt single in the 6th inning. Spenser Hollis closed the game, pitching the last 3 innings, striking out 7 and not allowing a run. The next game is Sunday 6/28 at 7pm. Game 2 (2-0) Pacific 25 (4 innings) The 12's bats woke up in a big way. Max Teer HR'd in the top of the first to open up the scoring. Leading 3-0 after the top of the first, Griffin Over took the mound and got 3 quick outs. The team then scored 9 runs in the top of the 2nd to take a commanding 12-0 lead. Parker Coffey, Brett Stoneman, and Aidan O'Neill each pitched 1 inning as the 12's continued to score runs. Alexander Thompson hit a 3-run HR. The next game is Sunday 7/5 at 2pm vs North Snohomish. Game 3 (2-1) N. Snohomish 6 Pacific loses a close one. Trailing 6-1 in the top of the 5th, Pacific scored 4 runs to make it 6-5. In the top of the 6th, Pacific got the leadoff runner on but could not get the tying run home. Griffin Over and Philip Grossenbacher hit HRs. Game 4 (2-2) Mill Creek 15 (4 innings) The 12's season comes to an end as Mill Creek defeats them 15-5 in 4 innings. Mill Creek pounded out 18 hits in 4 innings. Trailing 12-0, Pacific scored 5 runs in the top of the 4th inning to keep the game alive. Mill Creek then scored 3 in the bottom to end the game. Roster Philip Grossenbacher-Northwest K-8
