Page 2 of 8 Game 1: The 10's won their first game 10-0 in 4 innings over Marysville American. Brandon Mitchell and Hunter Shouse combined on a no hitter allowing 1 BB and facing only 13 batters. Game 2: The team continued its winning ways, prevailing over South Everett, 10-0 in another 4 inning game. Game 3: The boys in red, white, and blue move into the semi-finals after defeating a strong South Snohomish team, 7-5. Game 4: Great game, and it's now over! Down 7-1 in early innings on Tuesday, the team chipped away at Mill Creek's lead and tied it up 8-8 at the end of the 6th inning. The game was then suspended due to time. So, on Wednesday at 4:00, Pacific and Mill Creek resumed their game, with Mill Creek coming up to bat at the top of the 7th. Mill Creek scored 2 in the top of the 7th but Pacific bounced back scoring 3 in the bottom to win the game 11-10.
Game 5: The team had a 5-3 lead in the 3rd, but could not hold it, eventually falling to Alderwood, 11-5. Game 6: Down 6-1 in the bottom of the 6th, the team rallied. Their hot bats scored 4 runs to make it 6-5. But that's where the game ended. Great game, Alderwood, and good luck in the State Tournament. The 10's finish in 2nd place for the 2009 District 1 Little League Baseball Tournament.
