TOC (Lake Stevens) - PLL's Windermere Places Second

6/1: Windermere wins first game 8-0 over Mill Creek.  TOC has now been shortened to a single elimination tournament due to the rain.

6/2: Windermere faced off Wednesday night against S. Snohomish and walked away with an 8-3 win that advanced them to the semi-finals. Trenton Lusebrink, Dominic Marinez and Kosta Cooper shared the pitching responsibilities and all threw well. Zac Meicho (1-3, 1B), Brady Edwards (1-4, 1B, 2RBI) Thomas Kobuke (2-3, 1B, 2B) and Dominic Marinez (1-4, 2B) all had key at bats.

6/3: Windermere beats South Everett 7- 0. Moving on to the championship game Friday at 6:00. Brady was on the bump and threw the perfect game. A no-hit effort with 13 k's and the backing of his team punching out 10 hits made this a nice victory.

6/4: Championship game Windermere vs. Alderwood.  Windermere loses a heartbreaker, 3-2.

Distinctive Glass, IRG, 3D Roofing, and Echelbarger

 6/4: Distinctive Glass, 2 - Alderwood, 0: Matthew Gerhardt pitched 5 scoreless innings, with 12 K's.  The score was 0-0 going into the 6th when Matthew Gerhardt started the inning off with a triple, Corey Kispert then hit a double to score one.  Alec Bergstrom then got a hti to make the score 2 to 0.  Corey Kispert closed out the 6th as DGI held on for the win.

  6/5: Echelbarger vs. Stilly Valley:  Echelbarger wins.

  6/6: Distinctive Glass, 10 - Lake Stevens 0: Alec Bergstrom pitched the entire game allowing just 1 hit while striking out 7.  Alec had quite a night at the plate hitting 2 home runs with 4 RBIs.  Corey Kispert, Ian Tro & Jordan Rice all had 2 hits. 

6/7: IRG, 8 - Lake Stevens, 2.

6/10:  IRG 7 - Alderwood Sterling 4.  Echelbarger defeats Mukilteo Red Sox.

6/11:  DG loses to MC Cardinals.

6/12:  DG defeats 3D.  It was a pitchers duel for most of the game.  the game was tied 1 to 1 after the 6th inning. Jordan Rice pitched 7 innings (85 pitches) allowing just 1 run.  Blake Bergstrom had three hits for DGI including a triple.  Alec Bergstrom hit a 2-run home run in the 7th inning to break things open.  Jacob Oconnell pitched 6 strong innings for 3D. 

6/13:  IRG wins.  Echelbarger loses to MC Cards.  DG loses to Alderwood, 5-4.

6/14:  Echelbarger loses to S. Snohomish Rangers

6/15:  IRG loses to Mill Creek Cardinals

6/16:  IRG loses to S. Snohomish Rangers, finishes in 3rd place.

6/17:  Mill Creek Cardinals vs S. Snohomish Rangers, Championship Game.

Strawberry (Marysville) - PLL's Sparta's Wins Championship!

  6/5: Point B loses to Marysville Express, 0-1 in pool play.

  6/5: Sparta's defeats Stanwood/Camano Gators, 1-0 in pool play.

  6/6: Point B loses to South Everett, 0-2 in pool play.

  6/6: Sparta's defeats Alderwood VFW, 2-0 in pool play.  Sparta's advances to the bracket round.

  6/12: Sparta's defeats Marysville Express 1-0.

  6/13:  Sparta's defeats LS Giants, 16-3.

  6/14: Sparta's wins the Marysville Strawberry Tournament!  Sparta's defeated Mill Creek 4-3 on Monday for the championship.  Max Johnson hits his 4th HR of the tourney, Stuart Smith throws a CG (the 8th in a row as a team!), and great defense left Mill Creek's tying run at 3rd and the winning run at 2nd in the bottom of 6!  A storybook ending to a wonderful year. Congratulations Sparta's.

Marge Sweet Wood Bat (Alderwood) - PLL's Harbor Square Wins the Championship!

  6/5 - Harbor Square defeats Lake Stevens Tigers, 12-0.  Harbor Square wins 2nd game.

  6/5 - Showcase loses Saturday and Sunda. 

  6/8 - Harbor Square defeats Alderwood Corcoran Thunder, 10-0.  Harbor Square advances to the semi-finals.

  6/12 - Harbor Square defeats Alderwood Otter Insurance

  6/14 -  Harbor Square wins the Alderwood Marge Sweet Memorial Wood Bat Tournament!  
It took 9 innings of nail-biting baseball, but a two-run home run by Nick Loan in the top of the ninth gave Harbor Square a 3-1 victory over Alderwood Otters Insurance.  Kit Teer pitched five innings of shutout relief to seal the win.  Congratulations Harbor Square!

  Wilcox loses 9-0.
